Holy moly these are actually great and sport specific exercises for boxing.
some of the best fighters of all time including mma have very skinny legs, usain bolt… skinny legs… how your legs transfer power is quite complicated, but basically if you have deep hip sockets and a few other biomechanic advantages like long femurs it allows for alot more power at the top ranges of hip movement, which is what you use to throw punches, you're literally standing up, so for example, if you are squatting, someone with deep hip sockets like usain bolt, will have tremendous power at the very top of the squat, but I would bet that usain bolt probably cannot squat safely to powerlifting standard, where as if you take a look at the top olympic powerlifters, they all chinese with short legs, short femurs, like mike tyson

If not your genetics ( like Tyson’s ) bodybuilding and powerlifting is what will actually get you big Legs. Im sure if mike Tyson did powerlifting today he would lift a SHIT TON cause he’s a genetic lottery winner. The stuff they are showing is Bs honestly it’s cardio not a leg workout. The mike Tyson push-up idk what that is but it’s not doing anything to your legs at all. Squats and lunges are great but they are way to easy with your bodyweight.

Leg workouts are so crucial in boxing because you use your legs and body to throw your weight into your punches and people always think its all about upper body strength
Mike Tyson for his leg workout did 10 sets of 200 squats, so he did 2000 squats 5 days a week
