Mark Zuckerberg is Fake and Elon Musk Can’t Fight

The tantalizing prospect of big names Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk engaging in a UFC MMA battle raised brows and flagged skepticism in Hard2Hurt’s recent video. Icy Mike dissected notions of this ‘ridiculous celebrity fight’, pulling apart, in particular, Zuckerberg’s training footage as ‘shady’ and ‘largely fabricated’. A core critique rested on Zuckerberg’s training being more akin to an affluent vacation than gritty, unchoreographed combat: a ‘celebrity safari’ in the MMA realm. Regardless, he amusingly predicts Zuck would still topple Musk unless the notorious risk-taker ditches scripted safety and truly braves the bloody, bruising reality of martial arts training.

Modern Self Defence and the Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg Hypothetical Showdown

Awareness of self-defence techniques has seen a significant surge in modern times. With martial arts providing both an avenue for fitness and practical defence, the interest extends across an unexpectedly wide demographic. Sometimes, this interest even reaches the echelons of the world’s most prominent tech moguls. In the realm of hypothetical showdowns, the matchup of Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg strikes as an arguably absurd one as discussed by Icy Mike of the YouTube channel Hard2Hurt in his video titled “Mark Zuckerberg is Fake and Elon Musk Can’t Fight”. Discussing the digital moguls’ potential face-off, Mike called out the farcical aspects of the scenario. He particularly questioned Dana White’s enthusiasm, the president of UFC, about the match being the “biggest fight ever in the history of the world.” Mike also picked apart the showcased “training” videos of Mark Zuckerberg, which had successfully stirred online furor. As a professional trainer for high-end clientele himself, Mike divulged how these training sessions are more of a façade tailored for those who wish to experience mixed martial arts without really training or facing potential risks involved. Referring back to the tech moguls’ matchup in this regard, Mike highlighted that although Zuckerberg’s martial arts training videos appear to showcase legitimate training, most of it is choreographed and unauthentic. The footage does not signify any real combat prowess, but rather, is part of what Mike labels as a “mixed martial arts Safari” where trainers guide their rich clients through the motions without subjecting them to any actual danger. His assessment of Zuckerberg’s Jiu-Jitsu skills deemed them unremarkable, labeling his striking ability as downright “trash”. Despite this negative assessment of Zuckerberg’s martial arts prowess, Mike asserted that Zuckerberg would still dominate a match against Elon Musk. His reasoning is simple: while Zuckerberg has heavily choreographed, but still existent, martial arts training, Elon Musk has none shown to the public. A caveat to this claim is the possibility of Musk investing in legit hardcore training, much like the intensive regimen followed by actor Tom Hardy, who Mike cites as an example of real, non-safari type training. In conclusion, the video serves as a reminder that fighting is a science and a discipline requiring training and genuine experience. The showdown of Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg, should it ever materialize, will be more of a spectacle than an exhibition of martial artistry. However, it still highlights the growing interest and accessibility of self-defence and martial arts techniques across different social strata, even extending to tech bigwigs with reportedly little to no prior experience. Real or not, training offers physical benefits and instills a sense of self-confidence which, in the absence of actual combat situations, can go a long way. The glamourized world of celebrity martial artistry can thus be seen not just as a fascinating spectacle, but also as a gateway for many to explore the realm of self-defence in a more tangible and relatable manner than a simple gym advertisement. Zoological analogies aside, the modern perspective of martial arts in self-defence is as much about the spectacle as it is about the sport. Consequently, for the ardent devotees as well for the casual viewers of this niche, this tells a very powerful story indeed.

  1. [spoiler alert] Question for Viewers: Do you think I am right about the doctored footage or just an innocent framerate/audio synch issue?

  2. Even those of us who train for real understand drilling though. You can't point at a clip of Jonah drilling and say "they aren't going hard!"… no… we don't go hard while drilling. (Not to say Jonah goes hard at all… but that was drilling. Not fighting.)

  3. Elon is like 5 inches taller than zucc and naturally weights more, all he needs is some training to get him to zucc's level which as seen in this video isn't even all that high. My money is on Elon.

  4. 😂😂😂 i want this fight, because its hilarious, speacily the billionaires would like to have a man in a ring who would relate to them. Billions speak billions ….

  5. If you want to see an entertaining fight, I recommend that you watch Freddie Flintoff's Pro boxing fight. For you Americans, Freddie Flintoff was a cricket player who decided to take up boxing when he retired from his cricket career.

  6. Elon musk is 52 years old and mark Zuckerberg is 39. Elon musk would probably win because theres something about him that just wouldnt give up i believe.

  7. Mark Zuckerface is training BJJ and MMA because he is tired of right wingers clowning him and making fun of him for the dork he is. He actually said now he wishes he wrestled in high school and college…LOL😂😂😂. No you were a nerd computer science major with dreams to run a software company that makes you billions. Nothing wrong with that!!! 💴 💰 💵

  8. Musks mommy doesnt want her trust fund baby to get hurt though. If it were to happen Musk will tap out after the first strike.

  9. Respect to Zuck for trying it out at all but his movements look very stiff and not smooth and relaxed. The BJJ stuff just seems like drills and Mikey letting him work stuff…like when a purple belt or higher allows the white belt to try what coach taught them.

Tom Hardy looks legit! Solid head movement and striking. They're still pulling their punches because that's standard in light sparring but you can tell he knows some stand-up.

  10. Long ago I attended a seminar by Royce Gracie, and he said to our surprise, that they don't actually punch each other while training. "if you like to be punched, then come and join me and we'll do really well together", he said. Doesn't that contradict what you said?

  11. Yes, I would most certainly watch these two fucknuggets fight each other. That would be absolutely fucking hilarious. Double bonus if one of them gets a permanent injury because they're amateurs.

  12. Mike REALLY doesn't get it. No one is expecting a good fight, its just that the prospect of these two fighting is HILARIOUS. I dont understand how hes not getting this

  13. Opinion. Street fight experience is experience. Also bad neighborhoods provide a higher level fight as a whole. Everyone is used to fighting and have gotten better. They already learned that 'one thing' they do well.

Oh, and I will watch Musk wipe the floor with Zuck.
